Jambiani Backpackers Hostel ligt in Jambiani, op een paar minuten lopen van Paje Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een privéstrand. Excellent place to stay. nice breakfast (they’ve started including breakfast in their stay for free). Dorms and private rooms have great AC (although don’t expect an eskimo room when it’s the middle of summer, the ACs across Zanzibar take a beating then). This is a chilled hostel with a stunning pool area where you can relax and read a book. It is NOT a party hostel, which is exactly what I was looking for. Mohammed (the host/owner) is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome and helps with booking activities and rides to anywhere on the island. About 95% of the guests, including myself, extended their stay.

Perfect stay for solo travelers to meet other people. if you plan to visit jambiani and nungwi, make sure your stay in Jambiani is longer because you won’t find the same vibes in the north

Mambo Leo Hostel bevindt zich in Paje, op 4 minuten lopen van Paje Beach en 50 km van Peace Memorial Museum, en heeft een tuin en een gedeelde lounge, en gratis WiFi. the place is great, you have everything you need in the hostel and around, you feel like at home. its very central, everything is close by, the beach, shops, main road... everyone are so friendly, Tatu is an awesome host, helped me out with everything! i had a private room with bathroom and its great, the fan is just enough to keep it cool. shared kitchen has everything you need. the garden is very cute and nice to chill. neighborhood is nice, i felt very safe there. Heerlijk verblijf gehad, locatie is top in het dorp vlak bij het strand. Super warm welkom met op woensdag eten met allemaal locals en gasten. Door het verblijf hier veel connectie met zowel de gasten als de mensen die er werken maar ook de locals die er kind aan huis zijn. Echte aanrader

Coconuts Bandas is gelegen aan het strand in Jambiani, op een paar minuten lopen van Paje Beach, en biedt diverse voorzieningen, zoals een privéstrand, een restaurant en een bar. I stayed 2 nights at Coconuts Bandas which is such a lovely place right on the beach of Jambiani. Breakfast is served in the little restaurant that belongs to the accommodation with cozy sofas and great atmosphere.The breakfast was great with different options, i had lunch and dinner there as well, everything freshly homemade cooked with many vegan options. The staff was very friendly and gave me recommendations for the area plus they helped me to arrange a taxi. Wake up and take a long walk on the beach at sunrise, you will definitely enjoy this beautiful spot. Highly recommended:)

It had such a fun, welcoming atmosphere - the staff were so friendly, and there were lots of fun solo travellers which made it easy to meet new people! It is in a great location on Paje beach, has a lovely pool, delicious food and clean amenities. I will definitely be back 😊
