Ideally set in the Downtown San Diego, Gaslamp Hostel features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The location is super convenient. Only a 10min walk to petco park. There’s food from your left to right, and bars. I would imagine it would be noisy due to the location & nightlife but I was literally so quiet. I slept like a baby. Would book here again. Everyone was nice. Bathrooms were super clean. Everyone was chill. I went on the day of the dead weekend.

We've been to this place several times and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. We live to visit the L.A. area. In fact, we come back every year for 2-3 weeks. Everytime, and since 2020, we stay at the Orange Drive Hostel. It almost feels like home as we feel safe and in very good hands. The staff is very attentive and supportive. The rooms are clean and in good shape. The hostel is located in a side street right in the heart of Hollywood. Easy access to public transport, tourist attractions, restaurants and the very popular In N' Out Burger, etc. It's only a 2 minute walk to Hollywood Blvd attractions and a 5 minute walk to Sunset Blvd.

Banana Bungalow’s location is fantastic! Right in the heart of Hollywood and steps away from all the hotspots. You can see the HOLLYWOOD sign right from the courtyard. Amazing stay at Banana Bungalow! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms, and a perfect location. Loved the social vibe definitely coming back!
