The whole place is spotless, seriously one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever seen. The location is perfect and there are always fun activities going on, which makes it super easy to meet people. I’ll 100% stay here again next time I’m in San Diego!

The second day when i walked in the shower, brand new shower curtains were handed!!!! Amazing!

Ideally set in the Downtown San Diego, Gaslamp Hostel features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The location is super convenient. Only a 10min walk to petco park. There’s food from your left to right, and bars. I would imagine it would be noisy due to the location & nightlife but I was literally so quiet. I slept like a baby. Would book here again. Everyone was nice. Bathrooms were super clean. Everyone was chill. I went on the day of the dead weekend.

Banana Bungalow’s location is fantastic! Right in the heart of Hollywood and steps away from all the hotspots. You can see the HOLLYWOOD sign right from the courtyard. I really liked the activities, the Indonesian guy was so cool and charming. The karaoke time.
