Very cool that it was a cooperative project with over 100 people who donated to the project. I also loved renting the bike from them, I went all over Detroit with it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in one of the dorms, but you can rent a private room as well. You can use one of the 2 kitchens to cook your own food. Also, bring your own Masterlock for the free use of the lockers!

I was impressed by the accessibility and how responsive the staff was. I arrived late at night, and the access code I received wasn’t working due to a technical issue. After a long day of travel, it was a bit stressful, but I contacted the staff, and they responded immediately. They quickly opened the door for me remotely, and I really appreciated their speed and willingness to help, especially at that hour. Their prompt support made the situation much easier and left a great impression.

Both the bathroom and the room were very clean, and the staff put a lot of effort into keeping the place tidy. I really liked the warm and welcoming atmosphere — plus, there’s an adorable dog in the house! Towels and a hair dryer were thoughtfully provided, making the stay even more comfortable. I came for the Chicago Marathon, and the host kindly prepared breakfast and even safety pins for the race. Considering the price and environment, this stay truly exceeded my expectations.
