Great place to stay if you’re looking for a worth-recommending hostel in the center of Manhattan. The rooms are very small, but overall satisfactory — especially if you’re not planning to spend much time inside 🙂 The location is excellent, close to major train and subway intersections, which makes getting around the city very easy. The neighborhood feels safe and well connected. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The open kitchen is a great asset and helps save money on food if needed. You can find basic items like bread, jam, peanut butter, milk, cereals, cottage cheese, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, and even small freshly baked cakes available daily. Please note that the rooms are small and have open ceilings. The staff does their best to keep the apartment quiet, but of course, some noise is unavoidable. Highly recommended.

The room was small but quite comfortable, and it was perfectly clean and convenient. The breakfast, coffee, cocoa, and all other food/drink and amenities were excellent! The people were amazingly helpful and warmhearted, and they went out of their way to provide very useful practical information that made everything relaxed and totally stress-free. For anyone looking for a tremendous cost-performance value in Manhattan, I most highly recommend American Dream!

The Nolita Express Hotel is charming, unique and really affordable. The bathrooms were clean and the pods are really small, but they allow for some privacy – and they were also neat and clean. Staff was friendly. The location is awesome and the area feels safe and walkable.

I was initially hesitant about booking, especially since I reserved this hotel twice for our trip—once for our arrival and once for our departure from the USA. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to several metro lines. There is always someone at the reception available 24 hours a day, and they respond quickly to messages. While the room is small, as stated in the listing, it provides everything you need: clean towels, bedding, and both a room and a shared bathroom. The bathroom is cleaned several times a day. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. I encourage everyone to read the details provided when booking. Don't blame the hotel if you expected a larger room with amenities like a TV, balcony, microwave, fridge, etc. What is stated on the booking page is what you will receive. Another plus is friendly staff who work at the reception.
