Set on Colonia’s historic district, Hostel & Hostel & Suites del Rio has bright dorm rooms with free Wi-Fi. Alamo Beach is 800 metres away and a daily Continental breakfast is offered. Fantastic value - can't find a more affordable place in this part of town! We booked a private room with en suite bathroom. The room was basic but clean, bathroom could be updated, but served the purpose. Especially for the price. Want to give extra praise for the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind. They really made the experience fantastic. Based on other reviews, we were concerned about the noise from other guests, but we visited at a less busy time so this wasn't a problem for us. Would definitely stay again.

Set in Colonia del Sacramento, within 400 metres of Rowing Beach and 200 metres of Gateway of the Citadel Colonia, Casa Calma offers accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge, and free WiFi... Gorgeous place with three rooms set around a central courtyard and a common area in the city centre. Very close to the bus and ferry terminal. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings, two bathrooms, kitchen, fridge and the host was very friendly and great at communicating.
