The staff is amazing, everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. The hostel structure is perfect, you got everything you need (the shower is spectacular! Like a waterfall). Had a really nice time, even the hostel is not thaaat social or busy. Anyway, nothing major to complain, got a nice stay and could connect to locals and learn from them. Would definetely come back!

Traveling for the first time into this part of "historical" South Africa and after hearing about the negative stuff, I wasn't sure how it will be, but "Lungi" made it a "smooth" ride. He knows many people around and will help you out in getting rid of the negative perceptions/stereotypes you have about this place. He can also spontaneously organize tours and guide you in showing different places around Jo'burg/Soweto. After staying here, I can say that staying here was better than in staying in Jo'burg. The room & the toilets are clean...and no mosquitoes (at least inside the room). So, it was a learning & a great stay! :)

Well set in the centre of Pretoria, Sunny Lodge provides free WiFi throughout the property and free private parking for guests who drive. I didn't get breakfast, but I was happy with the location it is a safe environment and there's no loud noise
