Traveling for the first time into this part of "historical" South Africa and after hearing about the negative stuff, I wasn't sure how it will be, but "Lungi" made it a "smooth" ride. He knows many people around and will help you out in getting rid of the negative perceptions/stereotypes you have about this place. He can also spontaneously organize tours and guide you in showing different places around Jo'burg/Soweto. After staying here, I can say that staying here was better than in staying in Jo'burg. The room & the toilets are clean...and no mosquitoes (at least inside the room). So, it was a learning & a great stay! :)

Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful grounds. Very well situated in Rosebank. Place is kept clean and staff are friendly and professional. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A guy named Andries was very welcoming and always has a good sense of humour. The lady is very caring, I was out and entire day and she was very concerned about me, asking I'd I'm safe the whole time. I also had an issue with on of the residents and she assisted very quickly to ensure my safety and comfort. The rooms are always cleaned and kept neat. Like I mentioned the care from the owners is amazing.
