Ever heard of "bobo"? This is a special Viennese sort of hipster- and the apartment is in the heart of so called "boboville". All the cool bars, restaurants, clubs and shops are in the neighborhood. It is also right next to the famous Mariahilferstrasse, the main shopping and event street. The area is very gay friendly. The place is 5min on foot to any of the 3 surrounding metro stations on 3 different metro lines (which means you're max 20min away from almost every point in the city). Bus station is 2min away, and Westbahnhof (west station) is 5-10min on foot. But forget about all of that and use a bike.
