Offering panoramic views of Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Nock Mountains National Park from its terrace, the Pension Julia is only a 5-minute walk away from the Feldsee lake. If you want to go fishing, horse riding or play tennis, it takes you just a 5-minute walk. Also the stop of the free ski bus in the center of Feld am See is reachable on foot within 5 minutes. A hiking track to Afritz and to the local Wildlife Park passes behind the large garden of the Pension Julia. The A10 Tauernautobahn highway can be reached within a 25-minute drive on the B98 main road.

Pension Julia is a family friendly guesthouse operated by British couple Alison and Ryan. We offer a warm welcome and homely service to all of our guests year-round in a relaxing and family friendly environment. Our aim is to provide comfortable accommodation to all of our guests ensuring great value for money during the time of your stay.

Property info

Under new ownership since December 2015, Pension Julia is situated in the picturesque Austrian village of Feld am See, Carinthia. The village is located by the Brennsee (also called Feldsee) between the Wöllaner Nock and Mirnock mountains. Occupying a slightly elevated position at the foot of the Mirnock, Pension Julia offers panoramic views across the valley from the front, with direct access to a path leading to the summit of the Mirnock from the rear garden.

Neighborhood info

A short 5 minute walk will bring you to the shores of the Brennsee where guests can enjoy the facilities on offer, with many water sports in the summer and the possibility to ice skate or ski Nordic style when the lake freezes over in winter. We are situated close to the centre of Carinthia, making Pension Julia an ideal base for exploring the sites and attractions of the region all year round. Italy or Slovenia are also close by, approx. ¾ hour away by car, making a cross border excursion an attractive proposition.
