The non-smoking Hotel zum Gämsle is located on the outskirts of Schoppernau in the Bregenz Forest. The restaurant has won several awards and serves traditional regional cuisine. Hotel zum Gämsle is right next to the cross-country ski run and the winter hiking trails. The ski bus stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to the cable car for the Diedamskopf Ski Area in 7 minutes. Parking is available free of charge at Gämsle Hotel, Wirtshaus & mehr. From 01 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included with a minimum stay of 3 nights. With this card, guests can use all public buses, swimming pools and cable cars for free. The restaurant in the Gämsle is closed from the beginning of November to mid-December, as well as one week after Easter until the beginning/mid-May. During this time, the rooms are offered with bed and breakfast. The hotel is open almost all year round.
