A charming 1950's fisherman cottage,nicely renovated. to modern standard, though not luxury, it is comfortable, clean and with all the essentials. The main room is comfortable with a queen size bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and the entrance lobby has a sofa bed. At the back the living area is a big open space with kitchen, dining table, large couch and pool table. There is one bathroom with a shower. In the front garden,, enjoy a bbq with the family while contemplating the ocean. The Tingalpa Creek, famous for kayaking is right in front of our house, with approximately 2 hours kayaking inland and the same to return. You can cycle, jog or walk from just in front of our place up to Wynnum without leaving the waterfront. In the other direction, there is a very nice Aussie bushwalking to Lota creek and bicycle track to Thorneside. Guests Access: 2 kayaks, (1 double for 2 adults and 1 child and 1 single) 2 adult bicycles and 1 child bicycle 1 charcoal BBQ TV Internet Pool Table Lota train station is under 15 minutes walk, catch a train to Brisbane CBD, Cleveland, Gold Coast
I love the sea and enjoy all the outdoors activities, discovering new places and meeting people.
Quiet neighbourhood with nice parks and playground for kids. Just in front of our property, there is a playground for little kids. Lota Takeaway and Bart's Place are less than 10 minutes walk and opposite, there is a nice park with a playground for older kids. Lota, State School has a tennis court that can be booked online. Lota, Manly and Wynnum are lovely places with so many restaurants, snacks bars, coffee shops, marinas and market place. On Saturdays or Sundays enjoy the Manly markets. The Royal Queensland Yatch Squadron in Manly (15 minutes walk) is a Sailing Academy and offers a wide range of nationally recognised learn to sail and sailing related courses.
