Green Point is a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, nestled halfway between Pacific Palms and Forster. Close to national parks, Wallis Lake and a choice of many beaches within a short drive, you can choose between hiking, fishing or water sporting your way through your holiday. Nearby is the golden Seven Mile Beach, stretching from Cape Hawke down to The Ruins Campground at Pacific Palms. At the northern end of this beach, you'll find a dirt track which takes you out to the secluded “Janies Corner”, an excellent spot for fishing and surfing. At the southern end, the explorers can embark on the “Booti Hill Walking Track”, which takes you through the Booti Booti National Park, down to Elizabeth Beach (also home to “The Recky”, a superb spot to enjoy spectacular sunsets over the lake!). Otherwise, don’t go anywhere and simply walk down to the lake and take a swim, try a spot of fishing or wander along the lake shore and enjoy the abundant bird and aquatic life – you might even spot a pod of dolphins frolicking in the lake.
