Anna Bay is part of the Stockton Dunes, the largest continuous mobile sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. A 10-minute walk gets you to Birubi Surf Beach without the summer parking hassles. Here you can enjoy the view over breakfast at the Crest Café in the morning, or watch the sun setting over the dunes at dusk. The beach is patrolled every day in the season and is the departure point for all the dune activities, including sandboarding, camel treks and 4-wheel drive dune tours to Tin City and the wreck of MV Sygna. You can also get a permit to go 4-wheel driving on the beach in your own vehicle. On the foreshore, the freshly revamped Robinson Reserve has new play equipment, a state of the art skate park and facilities for a barbecue to the sound of rolling waves.
