The place looks brand new, everything is there from the huge immaculate BBQ, pots, pans, crockery, storage, powder for the washing machine, pegs, drying rack vacuum cleaner, large fridge/freezer, Microwave, towels, comfy beds etc. etc. The 2 big bedrooms were perfect for our group. Peaceful location off the 'beaten track'.

Kangarooby Cottage is a peaceful off-grid escape nestled on a scenic farm, 30km from Cowra. Immerse yourself in the vast countryside, starlit nights, and stunning country views. The cottage is perfect for couples or families, with a wood heater, ceiling fans, and evaporative cooling. It also has a fully equipped outdoor BBQ kitchen and fire pit. Spend your days visiting local attractions such as Iandra Castle, the Japanese Gardens at Cowra, and the Cowra Prisoner of War Camp. Or, simply relax on the verandahs, taking in the view of the countryside and wildlife.
Check-in is at 12 PM and check-out is at 12 PM. Our hosts, the creators of Kangarooby Cottage, reside nearby. They value your privacy but are always ready to assist with your needs or share some local insider tips.
Kangarooby cottage is nestled on a scenic farm which is located 27 minutes from the historic town of Cowra, 31 minutes from scenic Grenfell, 21 minutes from Iandra Castle and 50 minutes to Young, the cherry capital. Spend your days visiting the local attractions around the region, Japanese Gardens at Cowra, Cowra Prisoner of War Camp, Koorawatha Falls and the Chinese Gardens at Young just to name a few.
