Saint Aidans is perfectly located across the road from the north botanical gardens and Lake Wendouree. Featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and offering a rear deck overlooking an English garden. It is a 3 minute drive to all Wendouree shops and train station. All major Ballarat attractions including Ballarat Art Gallery, Sovereign Hill, restaurants and cafes vary from a 5 minute walk to an easy 10 minute drive. This home is very peaceful and superbly equipped with 300MB Wifi.
I am a family man, an entrepreneur and avid international traveler. The home is for the exclusive use of guests, however I am only a phone call away if you need support.
Winner of the Garden City street competition over numerous years, the area is one of the very best locations in Ballarat. One house off the lake foreshore and overlooking the north botanical gardens. It is significant for its high proportion of intact interwar and postwar Bungalows with contextually large allotments having open, landscaped gardens. A three minute drive to supermarkets, cafes and host of retail. The areas is originally the private property of the squatter, Robert Crawford, who built the nearby substantial Strathalbyn House in 1875, the area was well known as Bishopscourt - the residence of the Anglican Bishop of Ballarat from 1878 - and St. Aidan's Theological College that opened in 1903. A tram runs most sunny days and each weekend or public holidays along the lake foreshore past the botanical gardens, Pipers restaurant and back. This leaves 100 m from the homes doorway and is often a good way to get home quickly. The Wendouree train station is approx 3 minute drive away. You could walk it in 7 mins. Parking for two cars is available in the driveway. Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. 90% of likely destinations are within 10 mins.
