Relax on the balcony or head out to the famous Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, with more than 360 specialty stores, with eateries and a cinema. The neighbourhood is private and safe, with restaurants and cafes. And Brisbane CBD is only 20 minutes door-to-door via train. In classic Queensland style, this family-size apartment is all about indoor-outdoor living. The open-plan living/dining area opens onto a spacious balcony with outdoor furniture, and the sliding doors are meant to be flung open to let the breeze in. Indooroopilly is a lovely slice of the Brisbane suburbs, tucked away on a bend of the Brisbane River. Graceful old Queenslander houses sit on hilltops, modern apartments rise up close to the station and there are almost too many parks to choose from. It’s a transport hub with a train station, so getting to the city is easy, but it’s easy to pass a day just enjoying the shops at the massive, recently renovated Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
