This modern furnished two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment located on the Cairns main street, short walk from the Cairns Esplanade with two balconies and pool in the complex is one not to be missed. The unit contains everything you need to eat in, relax, and enjoy our amazing climate. Suitable for holidaymakers, families, couples travelling together, or temporary business residents. Take advantage of the short distance to all major attractions and restaurants. THE SPACE: Modern Apartment Close To The City Centre 16 is situated on the 1st floor, accessible by stairs only. The air-conditioned lounge area opening onto a balcony offers a laptop desk and a pull-out sofa perfect for lazing in front of the Smart TV with local channels and complimentary Netflix, Chromecast, and other apps. Free WiFi along with a selection of board games is provided to feel at home. Both bedrooms offer quality mattresses, ceiling fans, Smart TVs and wardrobes, one has an AC, queen-size bed and access to a private balcony and the other one has two single-size beds and can be easily cooled down by leaving lounge AC on. The unit comes with a bathroom with a shower, and high-quality towels and bed linen. There is also a coin-operated washing machine and dryer in the complex. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave as well as all basic kitchenware. A coffee Nespresso machine is provided and a few other staples for your convenience. A gate-coded visitor parking in the complex is included in your reservation as well as access to the outdoor swimming pool. PLEASE NOTE: The apartment is located on the 1st floor, accessible by stairs only. The building is right on the main street. We wouldn't describe the apartment as noisy as it's located at the back, away from the main road, especially when the doors and windows are closed but light sleepers or noise-sensitive people might hear cars.

There are some restaurants and Friendly grocer walking distance from the apartment. The Cairns Esplanade is the jewel in the Cairns crown. It is very popular with locals for walking, jogging, cycle pathway, exercise equipment at various locations along the length of grassy, well-maintained lawns. The expansive parks and gardens are beautiful. There is a concrete pathway along the beach. A few minutes walk to gas barbecue areas, about 15 minutes Muddy's Cafe (local fish and chips, burgers etc) and terrific water playground and jungle play area for kids. The southern end of the Esplanade has many bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a world-class casino with restaurants (and is adjacent to the main shopping area). Here you will find plenty of tour booking agents for a big range of reef, rainforest, tablelands tours scenic flights, fishing trips, balloon flights, and other specialty tours. The Cairns beach is not for swimming. Please use the huge free infinity pool at the southern end of the esplanade which has its own beach and lifesavers. Gas barbecues, ice cream shops and cafes are nearby. Further along, the southern end of the Esplanade is the Marina, from where local charter, fishing charters and daily tour vessels to the reef operate and in the river mouth is the Port for national and international cruise ships.
