This one-bedroom apartment for two has everything you’ll need to enjoy a long or short-term stay in Melbourne—with easy access to explore Northcote and popular nearby suburbs such as Clifton Hill, Thornbury, Brunswick, Collingwood and the CBD. Come home from a day of exploring the best of the city and unwind in a bright living room fit with a mid-century-style couch, glass-topped coffee table and a TV. An open-plan layout has the living room sitting alongside a large kitchen with ample bench space and all the necessary appliances including a gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee plunger and fridge. Whip up a homemade meal and dine at the four-person timber dining table before retreating to the bedroom furnished with black-out blinds, built-in wardrobes and two single beds—which can be pushed together to form one bed. A spacious and bright bathroom has a shower over a bathtub, a vanity, overhead mirrored cabinet and under-sink storage space. Additional luxuries include secure parking for one car, Wi-Fi, Air-conditioning with split-cycle cooling & heating option (will be installed on May 14th), portable heaters for each room, and a washing machine and drying rack.

There is something for everyone in Northcote—a hub for artists, musicians and young families. Head to Northcote Social Club or Uniting Church to chill out to live music; or stroll the length of High Street to discover innovative eateries, trendy bars filled with thirty-somethings, and boutiques selling designer goods. Catch an international or local art-house flick at Palace Westgarth Cinemas—featuring five gorgeous auditoriums and a newly-opened courtyard bar—or swim laps in the Northcote Aquatic Centre’s 50 metre outdoor pool. Join the locals for a feed with a side of live music at The Wesley Anne, one of Melbourne’s oldest and prettiest pubs, or grab an outdoor table at Welcome to Thornbury, a venue that houses food trucks, multiple bars, a beer hall and park-style courtyard seating.
