Panoramata means multiple panoramas - a perfect description for this secluded getaway! 2 mins drive to the beach, 4 mins to Swansea shops & the lake, it is the best of both worlds. With amazing views from every room, the fully self-contained apt has been recently renovated with a light & airy feel. The open-plan living area has a 65inch LG Smart TV, a huge, comfy leather lounge, a dedicated reading nook & a desk for those who need to log in. The kitchenette includes cooking facilities, a full-size fridge & a breakfast bar. The bedroom is the piece de resistance, with a luxurious Tempur king size bed, facing the large window looking over the garden out to the coast. Have a bbq on the balcony or a cocktail in the swing chair with the magnificent vista laid out before you. Directly in front of you is Caves Beach with the Pacific stretching out to the horizon, the sunrises are stunning. It’s the perfect spot for seasonal whale and year around bird watching. The property backs onto the Wallarah National Park for bushwalking & biking. Please refer to the photos of the entrance as access is down stairs at the side of the house.
We were both born in Newcastle & Lesa grew up here. Having spent years in Sydney, it was time to get out of the rat race & find a forever home. We could not have guessed we would be lucky enough to find this place! We've been here for a couple of years & we can tell you from experience - the view never gets old! Many hours have been lost watching the whales. It is our pleasure to share our slice of paradise & we look forward to your thoughts on our place.
Caves Beach was named for the sea caves at the southern end of the beach & is located on the Wallarah peninsula in Lake Macquarie, 90 mins north of Sydney. It’s a patrolled surf beach popular with the locals, great for picnics, lazing on the beach or fossicking in the rock pools at low tide. Hams Beach is to the north, with the beautiful & secluded Spoon Rocks Bay Beach to the south accessed by the coastal Wallarah Peninsula Walk. Birdlife & sea-life abounds, Caves Beach is a spectacular whale watching spot (seasonal). Local businesses include Cafés, a restaurant, an art gallery, IGA & a butcher. Woolworths, Coles & Dan Murphy’s are in Swansea 5 mins away. Within a 10km radius there is a mecca of activity for the outdoor enthusiast. Lake Mac & Swansea Channel are a playground for watersports such as diving, spearfishing or kiteboarding. Local boating options include jetboat tours, kayaking & charter/fishing cruises. There are also boat ramps if you have your own vessel or jetski. Lake Mac Airport is only 4.8km away for skydiving onto the beach, helicopter rides & scenic flights. The surf club is a great place to grab a beer & listen to live music on Sunday afternoons (summer).
