Saltbush Cottage is a charming weatherboard oasis, nestled behind a white picket fence and lush lillypilly and saltbush shrubs, right in the heart of vibrant South Terrace in popular South Fremantle. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is a great place to relax with South Beach just a short walk away. Situated on the site of the “Old Canteen” for the Arnotts Mills and Ware biscuit factory, we are now surrounded by vibrant artisan bakeries, cafes, restaurants, galleries, pubs and boutique bars. Features of the property: • Front verandah perfect for sunset views and watching the world go by • 2 bedrooms with queen size beds at the front of the property • Central bathroom with walk in shower and washing machine facilities • Chef’s kitchen with breakfast bench plus sit-down dining table • Wi-Fi connection • Central living area with TV streaming access via Chromecast • Rear yoga studio with second TV streaming access via Chromecast • Second bathroom, with bath to relax in with view of the old Eucalyptus • Outdoor shower with hot and cold water for use all year round! • Rear verandah with couch and views of the old Eucalyptus tree • Private car parking at rear of property (height limitations apply) One of the joys of the property is sitting on the west-facing verandah during sunset and watching the world go by – hidden behind the fence and foliage, but with peeks out to life on the terrace – and the option to join in within seconds! Being so close to the beach and within an urban environment facing the street, you may hear the gossip of beach or pub goers, cars or the CAT bus passing by when located at the front of the property. If this vibrancy isn’t for you, you may wish to choose accommodation a little further away from the strip. The free CAT bus passes south along South Terrace frequently, circulating in a loop back to the heart of Fremantle and the bus/train station and ferry departure point to Rottnest Island.
