Nestled in leafy North Adelaide, this cottage sits around the corner from the hub of Melbourne Street, famed for its heritage pubs, flavour-packed restaurants and local cafes. The suburb has become a mecca for all things tasty and delicious along with its picturesque parks and scenic walking trails. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunny courtyard. There is outdoor seating where you can sit down to an alfresco meal or relax in the afternoon with a book. The quaint front entrance also provides an idyllic space to watch the world go by. The cottage itself is fully self-contained with everything you could need for any length of stay. It boasts a light-filled living area centred around a decorative fireplace with a plush sofa and TV where you can unwind at home, while a study desk makes it easy to catch up on work with free Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your catering needs along with a small dining table. Sleep easy in the queen bedroom adorned with a chandelier and a large mirror for getting ready with ease. There are side tables with reading lamps and a wardrobe for storing your belongings. A second open living area can be used as a second bedroom with a single bed and trundle, comfortably sleeping two additional guests. The bathroom has seen better days. Aged, rusted and experiencing water damage—it’s awaiting renovation. However, fitted with a combination bathtub and shower, toilet and mirrored vanity stocked with a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries, it’s still functional and professionally cleaned after each stay. There is paid public parking within walking distance of the cottage.

The picturesque suburb of North Adelaide is known for its heritage homes, trendy restaurants and high-end boutiques. It’s minutes from the CBD and home to the iconic Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Zoo and a string of ornate buildings including the St Peter’s Cathedral. Explore the neighbourhood’s pretty parks, walking trails and the River Torrens. Along O’Connell Street you’ll discover an excellent mix of cafes, eateries and live music venues. Dine on rustic Italian at Ruby Red Flamingo, delicious South East Asian at Gin Long Canteen and cheerful Mexican at Lucky Lupitas.
