.The Retreat is a luxury couple's haven located 40 minutes south of Hobart, very close to the small hamlet of Woodbridge and artisan village of Cygnet. Exclusively yours, this unique self contained cottage is a romantic getaway that will feel like your own country home away from home. Sitting in a pretty native garden with private access. The Retreat features a luxurious King Size Bed and stunning en-suite. Gorgeous self catering kitchen with a welcome hamper for the weary traveller, including breakfast provisions to help you start your day exploring the region. Coffee, tea, milk, fruit and other pantry essentials are also provided. Let me know of any dietary requirements 24 hours before your arrival. Smart TV, Netflix and for those cosy nights in cuddled up in front of the wood burning fire place as well as free WiFi. We have an online Eftpos facility to suit most major credit cards, for those guests who wish to secure their booking.

Situated in a tranquil setting in the far south of Tasmania, it's an ideal relaxing getaway for 2. A perfect base to explore the delights of the Huon Valley. Nearby is the artisan village of Cygnet with an assortment of lovely cafes, shops, galleries, markets and many essential services such as a post office, petrol station, pubs and bottle shops. Cygnet is also home to the world famous Cygnet folk festival, which is held every January. The retreat is also close to the natural wonders of Bruny Island and some of the most pristine beaches in the world, amazing walks, national parks and many other local attractions.
