Welcome to our cozy private apartment located in the back of our renovated townhouse in the famous Antwerp-Zuid area. Our house is in a quiet dead end street but a short walk away from the trendy and exciting city center with its bars, musea and shops. The appartment is at the back of our house, away from any street noise or neighbours. You enter through the very spacious living area with open kitchen and salon. The bathroom with shower is next to the bedroom that sleeps two in a twin bed. Another comfortable kingsize bed -should you come with four people- is behind a room separating curtain in the back of the living area. It's a young and family-oriented neighbourhood. Not touristy at all: right across from our door you have cool coffee bar Copper, owned by our neighbour, and exquisite vegan restaurant And/or. A new and hidden gem, at the moment only locals have discovered it! There are many supermarkets and nice little bars, as well as park Hof Van Leysen. But don't be mistaken: the hustle and bustle of Antwerp-Zuid is right nearby. In under ten minutes walking you will find yourself at the steps of the world-class, newly renovated Museum of Fine Arts (MUHKA) at Museumplein. The area around it (nicknamed Petit Paris) is famous for its little squares with winebars, art galeries and many, many shops. You could walk around there for days and still not get bored. Just a few more streets ahead you arrive at the bank of the river Schelde, good for long, introspective walks and sightseeing all the unique architectural riverside appartments. It's Antwerp at it finest: classic grandeur meets flashy urbanism, all in a common space.
