Please enjoy the outdoor space and calmness of the woody area overlooking Kootenay Lake. Wake to the sounds of birds chirping, the creek running alongside both homes, and waves lapping the shoreline along the base of the 300-foot cliff. You are a 1-minute drive or a short bike ride to beautiful main lake access. Both tiny's are unique in their own way. Osprey Cabin is very special to Sara and includes several art pieces and trinkets from her travels around the world. Eagle Cabin has a very luxurious and modern feel. Whether you're traveling with another couple or on your own, your experience will be a memorable one!

We live on the property and can assist you with anything you may need when exploring the surrounding area. The Kootenays are a beautiful region with lots to do!

Cliffside Hideaways cater to all outdoor lovers. Queens Bay and Balfour area rests near several points of interest and local community must-sees. The village of Kaslo is a 25-minute drive along Kootenay Lake with breathtaking mountain views and epic quad trails. There are lovely walking trails, hiking trails, mountain biking, and local markets to discover. Head South to explore historic Nelson. Whether a summer market, mountain bike trail, or noteworthy restaurant, Nelson never disappoints. Even closer is historic Ainsworth. You can experience a soak at Ainsworth Hot Springs (an 8-minute drive) and enjoy dinner at the Ktunaxa Grill overlooking the pools. *You must reserve your time in the springs before arriving at Ainsworth. The Balfour Golf Course is mere minutes away. Enjoy swinging the sticks and unwind at a local pub. Take a ride on the Balfour Osprey Ferry - the largest free ferry in Canada! This area is also a winter lover's dream including fishing, skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, and even snowshoeing. The world-renowned Whitewater Ski Hill is also a 50-minute drive away and across from Apex cross-country ski club.
