 This two-roomed flat, once used as a stable, has been skilfully renovated to maintain the rustic flavour of its context. Wood is the most recurrent element, with parquet and exposed beams. The house is on two levels. 
 Opposite, the kitchen is modern, fully equipped with appliances and everything you need to prepare meals just like at home: dine on the beautiful glass table for 4! The window leads to the private courtyard, furnished with armchairs and a small table: an ideal corner to enjoy the mild climate of Ticino, drink a coffee, sip an aperitif, surrounded by the houses of the village. From the living room the beautiful iron staircase leads to the double bedroom, romantic and spacious, furnished with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers for your wardrobe. The colourful bathroom with shower completes the flat. Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa. LO STALLINO does not have a private parking, but you can park in the public car park, 100 m from the flat (Via dei Gilardi).

Around: Montagnola is a fraction of the village of Collina d'Oro, a green and scenic area of Lugano. The village of Montagnola is mainly known because the German writer Hermann Hesse lived here for half his life. The Hermann Hesse Museum, a museum dedicated to the writer, is located a few steps from the house. 
For lovers of literature and history, the Municipality of Montagnola has set up a didactic evocative path, with eleven stations, which leads the visitor through the houses where Hesse lived and the significant places of his life. The town centre can be reached in only 15 minutes by car. How to get: By car, from the A2 motorway take the exit Lugano Sud and set the GPS: in 10 minutes you will reach the flat. By train, from Lugano station take the bus n. 436 direction "Agra, Roncone" for 9 stops and get off at the stop "Montagnola, Paese". In 2 minutes on foot you will reach the flat.
