Unplug and reconnect with nature at this cozy tiny house, less than 1km from Playa Negra nestled in the jungle. We are located on a secure and private property where you can bask in total peace and tranquility, taking in the amazing sights and sounds of wildlife including Howler Monkeys, birds and sloths right from your own hammock. Cool off in the outdoor shower or talk a walk or bike ride to the black sand beach called Playa Negra for a swim in the warm Caribbean Sea.
I’ve lived in Costa Rica for one year now (from US-New York) and have fallen in love with the people and the place, in particular Puerto Viejo with it’s distinct bohemian and Afro-Caribbean vibe. I am a friendly, professional photographer and also offer location photoshoots for my guests at the beach, jungle or in town. I have good rates so be sure to inquire about this! Hosts live on the property in the house next door and will be happy to help you have the most enjoyable stay and experience possible. When not in touch in person, communicate via message. We have one small friendly Jack Russel Terrier dog we walk on a leash and will be out of the way.
Located in the jungle of Playa Negra Heights, in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The casita is located leas than 1km from beach— about a 6 minute bike ride/ 10min walk to Playa Negra (black beach/Caribbean Sea), as well as nearest gourmet market, restaurant with bar, tour desk, bike rentals, massages and hair salon. Free parking on premises. Best way to get around is by bicycle, scooter, or car. Bike Rentals at the local tour desk nearby or in town.
