It is 14 years now since I first visited Cyprus and I never grow tired of my time on the Island. Friendly people, good food, and the best thing about the Polis area still largely undiscovered. Polis or Latchi (a 5 minute drive along the coast) have plenty of excellent places to eat. Polis has a sandy beach as does Latchi or 10 minutes along the coast there is Aphrodite Beach which is good for snorkelling. A boat trip from Latchi Harbour to the Blue Lagoon is a must. Inland and a 20 minute drive away you will find the village of Kathikas in the heart of a wine making region where wine tasting is on offer.
