From a moss hike to a panoramic circular trail with refreshments or a refreshing dip in Lake Abtsdorf, Saaldorf-Surheim has so much to offer. And always with the magnificent backdrop of the Berchtesgaden Alps in front of you, which can be reached in no time at all by demanding mountaineers. The extensive municipal area with its many long, well-maintained cycle paths is ideal for cycling tours and inline skating. The signposted cycle paths, in combination with the entire range of cycle paths in the district, are excellent starting points for longer supra-regional tours. Due to the low gradients, the cycle tours are particularly suitable for families with children. The cultural metropolis of Salzburg is in the immediate neighbourhood. But also the Königssee or the Chiemsee.
