Embedded in the lush green forests of the Black Forest, our Residenz Grafenmatt is located on the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg, the Feldberg, at the top of the pass. Here you can expect 29 residential units with high quality equipment for up to six people. The facility is the perfect starting point for all kinds of outdoor activities, with various ski slopes and hiking trails right outside the front door. All apartments have a cozy living room with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen area, a whirlpool tub and a terrace. W-LAN and the reception of Sky is of course free of charge for our guests. The Residenz Grafenmatt has a small bistro, an underground car park with one parking space for each apartment, a ski storage room with lockable and heated ski cabinets and direct access to the Thoma ski school with ski shop. The Residenz Grafenmatt am Feldberg is the ideal starting point for an active holiday in the Black Forest. In winter, of course, skiing comes first. A well-developed lift network and over sixty kilometers of slopes await snow-loving holidaymakers right outside the front door. In summer, the area is best explored on foot or by bike. Start hiking right away on one of the well-signposted panorama hiking trails or float towards the summit with the Feldbergbahn. You can enjoy the best view from the platform of the Feldberg Tower. Racing cyclists and mountain bikers also get their money's worth on the Feldberg. Beautiful mountain routes, adventurous trails and well-signposted tours make the Black Forest an Eldorado for enthusiastic cyclists. Use your stay for a trip to the surrounding cities of Freiburg, Donaueschingen or to the festival in Baden-Baden. Or take a detour to our neighbors in France or Switzerland. A tour to nearby Lake Constance with the beautiful flower island of Mainau or to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen is particularly worthwhile. Culinary delights are particularly important in the Black Forest. Not only the famous Black Forest cake can be enjoyed here in one of the numerous cozy cafés, other regional specialties such as Black Forest ham, sausage and smoked products, cheese or fruity liqueurs are also waiting for you - often directly from the producer.
