We, Cecile Lampe, Anneke van Os and Petra Velders have known each other for over 30 years. Besides a close friendship, we share our passion for a natural, sustainable lifestyle. It is with great pleasure that we express this passion in setting up and running 'The Conscious Farmer Training Center and B&B', where our diverse knowledge and skills in the field of well-being, healthy nutrition and sustainable hospitality come together.

Our charming Bed and Breakfast - with rich organic breakfast - is located in the middle of the Diemelsee Nature Park, on the outskirts of the peaceful climatic health resort of Schwalefeld, 3 km from the lively tourist town of Willingen. From the building you have a gorgeous view over the wooded hills and the village. We have fourteen cosy, spacious rooms at your disposal, some with a seating area and satellite TV. For a good night's sleep, the rooms have high-quality mattresses and at night the Wi-Fi is switched off. Our breakfast consists of organic products, where possible from the region. Located on our grounds, where you also have free parking, is our 'foodforest-garden’ where everything that grows is edible: berries, nuts, herbs and flowers. From our location you have direct access to the extensive and well signposted cycling and hiking trails through the Rothaar Mountains. Bicycles and mountain bikes (also electric!) can be hired in Willingen. You can swim and water ski in the mountain lakes nearby and in winter, ski, and sledge on the slopes. You can also relax in our cozy bar, play a game, or enjoy the sunset on our large terrace.

The landscape around Willingen and surrounding villages is very diverse with beautiful forests, meadows, rivers and lakes. A wonderful area for anyone who loves tranquility and natural beauty. Three of the most beautiful hiking areas come together here: Hochsauerland, Diemelsee Nature Park and Waldecker Land with the certified hiking trails Uplandsteig and Rothaarsteig and peaks up to 843 m with breathtaking views. Hikers have hundreds of kilometres of paths at their disposal. Willingen has the second largest ski area in the Sauerland region with long pistes, a modern gondola lift and many cross-country skiing trails. Willingen is not only known as a winter sports resort and health resort, but has also become a hotspot for mountain bike enthusiasts. The Sauerland region has the best downhill cycle parks in Germany, great tours for mountain bikers - as well as beautiful cycle paths for trekking - and family tours. The Sauerland offers a wide range of leisure opportunities for excursions to family and leisure attractions and you can swim, sail, water-ski and canoe in the surrounding lakes. I
