Around the apartment you will find various restaurants, fish stalls, ice cream stores and coffee shops. You can look from the apartment and from the garden directly on the Ryck and the historic bascule bridge, which is opened once an hour by hand. Directly on the other side of the bridge, a bus usually leaves every quarter of an hour to Greifswald city center. Another 500m on foot you can reach a discount store and a bakery. In summer, kayaks, canoes and SUP boards are rented at the bridge.
