Company information

We are a small family firm with Estonian and Swedish roots, mainly active in the translation industry. Since many friends visiting from near and far have sincerely admired the beautiful environment surrounding our farm, we decided to even try to share our stunning views with other like-minded guests who appreciate fascinating nature and privacy. Therefore we have set up a spacious and (at least according to ourselves ☺) cozy tent on a wooden terrace for the summer season. It's located by our old midsummer bonfire site on Kunnimägi hill, 231 metres above sea level, where you are welcome to spend a night (or two) surrounded by nature, but still sleep nice and snug in a comfy bed.

Property information

Secluded nature holiday in a comfortable glamping tent/caravan with beautiful scenery and a minimal ecological footprint. The tent has no electricity, but battery-powered light chains provide cosy lighting. For cooking there is a gas grill and burner, with some kitchenware provided. The on-site outhouse functions with a composting toilet. It is possible to go swimming, rowing and fishing, hike in the woods and watch beavers (or at least traces of them), an osprey gliding above the lake, storks, herons, etc. The guests will most likely first be greeted by our two big dogs, Birka and Wilma. They aren't dangerous, just loudly and curious, big softies at heart.

Neighbourhood information

We are located in beautiful Haanja Nature Park, with lots of forest and green hills, by a small lake. Nearby you will find for instance the highest points in Baltics: Suur Munamägi and Vällamägi, as well as picturesque Rõuge with the Ööbikuorg valley and the deepest lake in Estonia; Hinni canyon; the ruins of Vastseliina episcopal castle; Lake Kirikumäe with its hiking trail and the Devonian sandstone outcrops by Piusa river, that actually starts right here. Northern Latvia is nearby as well, for exploration by car. You can get to us by bus from Võru, to Tummelka (about 1.5 km walking distance) or Plaani (about 3 km walking distance) bus stop. You are very welcome!
