Spectacular location on a cliff 220 meters above the sea. No other houses block the view of the magnificent landscape. Therefore, the accommodation offers a unique view over the north coast of Tenerife from Mesa del Mar to Garachico. A slight sound of the sea is audible. The distance to the beach is 3 km and with it you can be there in 5 minutes. If you like to wonder, you can walk down in about 45 minutes. In Mesa del Mar the sun is shining most of the time and the temperatures are pleasant. In the green northeast of the island is Mesa del Mar, a settlement that belongs to the municipality and city of Tacaronte. Tacoronte is known for the surrealist Óscar Domínguez, who spent his youth here, and as the capital of the Acentejo wine region. The grapes grown here are of local (autochthonous) varieties, with Malvasia being historically important. For leisure there are many options away from the mass tourism of the south. A small diving school down by the sea offers excursions and diving training (CMAS). Nature lovers walk nearby under bright blue skies through shady hardwood forests with giant trees, enjoying the intense smell of pine trees and subtropical flora. Mountain bikers will find plenty of trails to let off steam. Challenging hikes through the spectacular Anaga Mountains can be reached within 30 minutes. Culture vultures can drive 20 minutes over the mountain to Santa Cruz de Tenerife to the TEA Museum, to a concert or 10 minutes to La Laguna with its historic old town and student life. Puerto de la Cruz is only 15 minutes away by car. The gastronomy of Tacoronte and the surrounding area offers a lot of variety - from the simple fisherman's meal in La Pris to culinary high quality dishes in Casa del Vino with great views and excellent wine from the area.
