Madrid er en flott by å besøke på weekend-tur (torsdag-søndag). Finnes mange koselige gater og kafeer, masse ulike markeder, fine parker og bygninger. Lett å komme seg frem med metro (ikke ta uber/taxi, det blir veldig dyrt). Masse liv på kveldene, utrolig koselig og spennende by. Anbefaler å besøke parken og ta seg turen ut på vannet i båtene der. Om du ønsker å dra på restaurant med show, anbefaler jeg virkelig Bulebule!! Har du ekstra tid bør du også booke fotballbilletter til Real Madrid:) Madrid kan bli dyrt; koster litt å spise ute, med mindre man lager mat selv på hotellet. Museo del Prado var absolutt et høydepunkt, Retiroparken med Crystal Palace likedan Palacio Real, Slottet med Catedralde Nuestra Senora de la Almudena . Super lunsj på Plaza de Santa Ana i området Sol. Overaskende greit å ta seg rundt, men lurt å ta en City tour i starten av oppholdet.

Kan selvsagt ta en taxi, men en kort tur for disse er minimum € 20-25. Hotellet ligger 50 meter ned i en sidegate fra Barajas Plaza. Her er det flere spisesteder med typisk spansk tapas eller matretter med hyggelig atmosfære. Det var ingen frokost på hotellet (jeg hadde fly neste dag klokken 06:00). Hotellet hadde og en flott patio / bakgård med sittegrupper for kveldslesning etc. etc.GunnarSpania
