The streets are quite narrow in Oria as in many of the villages in Spain but the house is quite easy to find and the street is on Google Maps plus should show up on your satnav if you have one. Lovely views and on a clear day you can see the sea beyond the mountains. Price very reasonable for the area, total accommodation consists of a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom for both rooms plus the premium has a private lounge/kitchenette. My name is Andy and I live on site, I have only lived in Spain since 2017 and love the country/area. I am English, trying to learn Spanish but struggling. I come from East Anglia in the UK originally but lived for many years in the south of England. I do have a very friendly rescued dog but she is kept upstairs so little or no contact with the dog and she very rarely barks so is not a noise concern. The rental accommodation is on the ground floor.

Oria has a number of bars/cafes and small supermarkets, bank with ATM, police station, petrol station etc. Most are within a few hundred metres walk. The property is south facing on a quiet street with on street parking outside the house, it overlooks the fields of Almond trees with the hills/mountains in the distance. Albox is approx. 20 minutes by car and the coast approx. 1 hour by car, Garrucha is one of my favourites, then drive down the coast through Mojacar towards Cabo de Gato national park for some stunning scenes. Oria has a small market Sunday mornings and Albox market is on Tuesday (much larger), also a Rastro (market/car boot) on Saturdays a little way past Lidl supermarket in Albox on Avenida 28 De Febrero. There is also ten pin bowling in Albox. Saliente is a popular attraction/monastery and also has a restaurant, approx. 17km from the village. Heading north out of the village you can access the N-92 which heads towards Murcia or Granada both of which are approx. 1.5 hours by car or head towards Zujar to see Lake Negratine, or a little further north to Castril with more lakes and a river walk (less than an hours drive or Castril 1 hour 15 minutes approx.)
