The OVO Network team’s opinion - This beautifully renovated chalet sleeps up to 10 guests in four en suite bedrooms. Set on the edge of the busy village of La Clusaz, you'll be in a great location to take advantage of the pistes in winter (200m) and the wonderful hiking and biking trails in the Aravis mountains during the rest of the year. With two double bedrooms on the ground floor, and two more on the second floor, it's a great place for two families who each want a degree of privacy, or for a group of friends. Families in particular will love the top floor suite, with a kingsize bed separated from two single beds. All of the kingsize beds can be arranged as twin beds if you prefer, making the sleeping arrangements very flexible. The living area has been cleverly arranged so that the kitchen, dining area and seating area all enjoy the great view over the village and mountains. There's also a wraparound terrace with room to eat outside, or just sit in the sun and soak up the view from the jacuzzi. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

With the lifts on your doorstep and an Aravis ski pass, you'll have access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts, so you will never be short of somewhere new to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers at the nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaus. It's a great location for non-skiers too, with the neighbouring ice-skating rink and a cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. There's just as much going on in the summer, and when you stay at Chalet Fernand, you won’t need a car to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer. Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is always somewhere new to discover. The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches. If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun and the views from the hot tub on the terrace or balcony. Later you can catch up with friends and family over a barbecue at Chalet Fernand, as the sun sets behind the mountains.
