La Petite Grange Gite is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Oradour Fanais, near Confolens, Charente. The gite benefits from on-site parking, private entrance and enclosed rear garden. Charging point for Electric Vehicles and Hybrids is a 5 minute walk away from the gite. The holiday home provides private, luxury, self-catering accommodation that has been finished to a high standard with tasteful furnishings throughout. The patio area is a lovely spot to sit and unwind whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Inside, La Petite Grange consists of a spacious, bright, open plan living, dining and kitchen area with original wood beams. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, hob, electric oven and everything required for a home from home stay. There is a large double bedroom with a king size bed and a separate spacious bathroom with walk in shower, and corner bath. A sofa bed and a travel cot are also available. Lots of lovely extras have been included to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, this is a real home from home! Breakfast hampers can be requested and if you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay and want to treat your loved one then champagne and chocolates gifts can be arranged. A very warm welcome is promised and guest privacy is respected.

Andy and Jo moved to France in the summer of 2020 and quickly settled into their new life in the sun. They enjoy eating out and have a variety of restaurants that they can recommend to guests. Andy is a keen golfer and a member at the nearby Mortemart Golf Club.

La Petite Grange sits on the edge of the lovely village of Oradour Fanais, near to Confolens, Charente and approx 30miles from Limoges Airport. The village has about 400 residents, a school, mayors office, post office and O Petit Fanais - a great bar, cafe and general store - selling most groceries, bread, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as petrol, diesel for the car and a charging point for electric vehicles and hybrids. The town of Confolens is a short drive away, supermarket and shops can be found here along with bars, cafes, restaurants. Confolens offers various other tourist attractions including canoeing on La Vienne river. There is an abundance of walks and hikes nearby. The martyr village Oradour-sur-Glane is approximately 18.6 miles from La Petite Grange. A visit here is highly recommended. Les Vallee des Singes (monkey valley) is about 45 minutes away and is a superb experience for all ages. With lakes to swim, sail and fish in and beautiful countryside for short walks or long hikes on the doorstep, La Petite Grange is ideally located to soak up the sun, sample the wine and do as little or as much as you wish!
