Near the historic town of Domfront-en-Poiraie in the Lower Normandy region of France, surrounded by beautiful, rural French countryside. Whether you’re looking for a few days away in the seclusion of the countryside or somewhere to gather with friends for that special occasion, we offer luxury ensuite bedrooms in the authentic, rural setting of ‘Le Jardin’ outside the small village of Champsecret. We have two guest rooms with Emperor and Superking-size beds, egyptian cotton sheets and feather & down quilts, making for a superb night’s sleep whatever the season. The only alarm clocks here are the birdsOur two guest rooms are on the first floor and both have south facing views. As experienced guests ourselves in hundreds of rooms over the years, there was no doubt in our minds during renovations, about the priorities of room facilities we wanted for our guests; very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. To give our guests extra space and comfort, our two guest rooms are divided by what we call ‘The Reading Room’. In here, you’ll find a selection of complimentary snacks and treats and refreshments including tea and coffee of course, available throughout the day that you can enjoy from this room, while still in your bathrobe or take into your bedroom. There is free wi-fi and an abundance of nature to enjoy around the grounds.

La Pommeraie has a fascinating history that we've loved learning about as we continue to renovate this lovely old property, restoring her character and grace. The property sits in small hamlet and we've teamed up with our neighbours to offer additional facilities such as horse riding experiences and Yoga sessions. Guests like the natural beauty of the place, the scenery and landscape is spectacular, full of nature and dark skies at night to star gaze. The nearby towns of Domfront and Bagnoles are well worth a visit as well as the nearby cheese farm, biscuit factory, distillery and the artisan chocolate shop for picking up some goodies to take home.
