Le Chalet has been designed to take you on a journey when you visit Genas, near Lyon. For a night or several days, you'll feel like you're staying in a chalet in a beautiful Alpine resort. The decor, colours and atmosphere have all been designed to offer you a moment of peace and tranquillity, whether you're alone, with your family or with work colleagues. Located on the 1st floor of an old building that has been completely renovated (access via a private staircase), the Chalet comprises a living room with an open-plan kitchen opening onto the lounge. In the lounge, you'll find a double sofa bed (140 x 200) and a convertible armchair (80 x 200). On the same floor, there's a bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a separate WC. A few steps up a spiral staircase take you to the wooden mezzanine, where you'll find a new bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200). Other flats will be added to this Chalet in early 2024.
I've been a host since 2015, and I have the chance to meet travellers from all walks of life and all over the world. I'm delighted to be able to offer you the best possible welcome and help you discover our beautiful Lyon region.
Genas Azieu is part of the town of Genas, and will take you back to a beautiful little Lyonnais village: around its square and covered market, you'll discover its small local shops (baker, butcher, fishmonger, grocer, hairdresser) and restaurants. All these shops are just a few minutes' walk from Les Voyages du Loft. You can also hear the roosters crowing in the surrounding farms, come across a cat crossing the garden, or set the rhythm of your mornings and evenings with the bells of the nearby church. A building is under construction next to the house, with work starting in the morning around 7.30am and finishing in the evening around 5pm, from Monday to Friday, and sometimes on Saturday mornings.
