The small single room I booked was so small that I upgraded to a bigger room with very good rate. It was such a big, classic and lovely room and all staff was so friendly and above all, the location can’t be better!!

The comfy bed the bath showing onto the bedroom and the river view had a great stay the bar was a plus and the staff were amazing. Thanks we will come again

A little gem of a hotel in Lyon. Very central with great Tram services. We were staying for a concert in Groupama and only 2 trams away. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, I would recommend this Hotel as a place to stay if visiting Lyon.

The hotel is right next to Perrache station for the trams, buses and trains, so perfect for connections within and around Lyon We travelled to Annecy and it was perfect as Flixbus station is also there. The staff were great. It is also near the main squares and shopping streets of Lyon.

Location is perfect, close to everything. It’s very clean. It’s a cosy place, also it will be comfortable to work in the lobby.

Good central location, nice and helpful staff. The room small but well equipped and clean. Good choice for 1 night.

Its location was excellent, a lovely easy walk to beautiful central Lyon and the old town. The hotel was excellent 3* with comfortable beds and clean linen. The front of house staff namely Myriam during the day and JeanPaul at night were so attentive and very helpful always, even booked dinner for us, and a taxi to take us to the airport. Definitely would recommend and stay there if we ever return to Lyon.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for three nights. Many of the original features still remain today. There are beautiful and unique pieces of furniture, paintings, books and photos etc displayed throughout the hotel. All areas of the hotel were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owners and all staff were very friendly and enjoyed sharing points of interest in their city. We would highly recommend a stay at the Hotel de Verdun.

The location of the hotel is incredible for someone who is visiting for 1-2 days and wants to visit some of the popular sights in the city. Almost everything is walking distance from it and there is also train station nearby and a tram stop right outside. It is super quiet as well despite the trams and cars outside. The staff is kind and polite and the rooms are equipped with everything one could need for a short stay.

I stayed in the single room and it was brand new, spacious, super quiet and clean. Best location for public transportation access and right on the pedestrian street. Wish I stayed in Lyon longer!
