The cabin has a small kitchen, shower room and lounge area downstairs, the bedroom is on the mezzanine floor. The terrace is large and is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of local wine. The garden has several cherry trees which also provide excellent shade during the hot summer months.

I am English and retired to France with my husband Brian in 2015. Keen walkers and holiday makers in Europe and beyond we decided to move to France, why France? We enjoy, good wine, excellent food, good company and entertaining. We have our own wood cabin which we built in 2017 which we hope like minded people will enjoy.

The cabin is on a small quiet lane between the villages of Premian and St Ettienne de Albagnan in the pretty valley of the river Jaar. There is a bar/restaurant in Premian and a Pizzeria restaurant in St Ettienne de Albagnan, both accessible on foot. The woodern cabin is within the Haut National Park of the Languedoc, with surpurb views over the mountains. Set within its own private garden with private parking, this is an ideal base to enjoy a relaxing Holiday and take walks in the countryside of the park, or cycle along the Voie Verte (80km of railway line converted into a cycle/walkway) or visit many of the local sites such as the cathar castles like Carcassonne or take a tour of the numerous vineyards and taste the local produce.
