At La Soursol, the expression haven of peace is not overused, one feels out of time. The name of La Soursol, somewhat enigmatic, certainly reveals the presence of water, a spring on the property. It is a pretty farm, several times centenary placed on the edge of the Tarn. These buildings of the past, completely renovated inside and decorated with care in the taste of the old, preserve their walls in red bricks and pebbles patiently drawn in the bed of the Tarn. The chicken coop, the pyre, the Chapel, the old hog barns are organized around a shady and engazonné patio planted with magnificent trees. The arcades all around evoke the image of a cloister. La Soursol, its patio, its large park, give you a feeling of serenity, in the heart of the Country of Bastides, close to the effervescence of Albi, its famous Episcopal City, and the millenary vineyard of Gaillac. La Soursol is a magnificent cottage for ten people, organized in two different buildings, with covered terrace and large garden in the front. The owners live during the summer in the house next door, with independent access and without any vis-à-vis. The cottage accommodates six people in the old hen house and four in the old pighouses, on both sides of the cloister. Very large garden where your children can frolic and enjoy the games and the portico, beautiful covered terrace ideal in case of strong heat or mixed weather to take meals outside. Large living room with open kitchen, toilet on the ground floor of the Poulailler, three bedrooms upstairs in the Poulailler and two on one level in the Porcheries. Bathroom and shower room. Electric heating or/ and heating with wood stove. Possibility to rent sheets (10€/bed), towels (3€/person) and household linen (3€), cleaning service end of stay (100€), purchase of wood.
