Located in the countryside of Poitou Charentes, the second sunniest place in France. It is perfect for those who want a quiet relaxing holiday or for those who want plenty to see and do. We have a large (12x6m) swimming pool (open June-Oct) for the use of all our guests. Lots of outdoor space for barbecues and al fresco dining. Ideal area for walking or cycling through the many fields of beautiful sunflowers. We are located in the middle of a 57km bicycle route (don't have to do it all). Bike hire is available. Children and dogs are welcome.

A man-made beach (Plan d'Eau) is a 5 minute drive away, serves delicious snacks and meals. Must try the mussels and chips or a variety of home-made pizzas. Then try to catch your own fish in the lake and burn your lunch off with a swim in the lake. The Aire de Rejallant (12 minute drive) offers canoeing, kayaking, bike hire, picnic areas and even a restaurant. An ideal day out, remember to take a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Futuroscope is one of the best loved leisure parks in France and unique in Europe. There are 3D rides with 4D effects, games , live shows ,open air activities and a spectacular nightly light show. Something for all the family. The town of Cognac offer guided tours (in English and French) around Courvoisier, Hennessey, Martell, and Remy Martin. La Vallée Des Singes is a monkey park with over 400 monkeys in a natural setting (no cages!). The nearest village is Villefagnan, 2 minutes by car with a corner shop, post office, pub/restaurant, doctors and bakery that can deliver your fresh baguette and croissants to your front door in time for breakfast. The larger town of Ruffec is a 10 minute drive away, which also has 2 large supermarkets and a Lidl!
