Quiet location but also an easy walking distance into the village (go via the path through the woods, not down the main road). The apartment was well laid out and quite spacious. Very good value for money. We spent a weekend in Ax-les-Thermes en route to Spain and had an enjoyable time discovering the village. We also did a fantastic hike over the hills to Orgeix. Everyone appreciated soaking their tired feet in the hot spring fountains in the village at the end of the day! We'd recommend the bakery called Saveurs D'ariege for their delicious bread and local blueberry jam pastry.
