Places of interest close to the accommodation : - Havre de Rothéneuf beach, 5 minutes' walk away; - Plage du Val 13 minutes away; - Musée Jacques Cartier 16 minutes away; - Intra-Muros 40 minutes by bus; - Cancale, 15 minutes by car to eat oysters; - Saint-Malo 18 minutes away; and much more... Plage du Havre de Rothéneuf is very pleasant for children, as there are no big waves. It's a small, sheltered beach, easy to keep an eye on. However, you need to keep an eye on the tide times, as the Havre de Rotheneuf empties twice a day :) ! If the tide is low, you can walk to the Val beach through the village, turning left after the tobacconist's and pharmacy. You can also take a walk along the coastal path, which starts on the left just before Plage du Havre, and leads back past Plage du Havre through the village. Of course, it's possible to go much further along the coastal path, towards Cancale or St Malo. You can also spend the day in Chausey from St Malo, or visit Dinar by taking the shuttle boat from St Malo! You're very welcome :)

Today, Saint-Malo is a renowned seaside resort. Surrounded by ramparts, the walled city of Saint-Malo was admirably rebuilt as it was when 80% of it was destroyed in August 1944. The city of Saint-Malo, with its ramparts, castle and fine buildings, is a superb ensemble. The walk along the ramparts offers splendid views of the sea, the sandy beaches at the foot of the ramparts, the Fort National, the port and the buildings of the town itself. To learn more about the history of Saint-Malo, head for the castle's grand dungeon, which houses the Musée d'histoire de la ville et du pays Malouin. Visitors can also visit the Grand Aquarium de Saint-Malo, a space entirely dedicated to the marine world. Every four years, the city of Saint-Malo hosts the start of the Route du Rhum, the famous single-handed transatlantic sailing race from Saint-Malo to Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe.
