Vergécosse is a most tasteful and unique courtyard development in the pretty village of Vergisson close to Mâcon in Southern Burgundy offering luxury property rental. It comprises La Forge (2 bedrooms), La Croix (4 bedrooms) and La Roche (5 Bedrooms). These can be booked individually or in any combination. Enjoy the magnificent scenery and tranquillity that this region of France has to offer and relax with friends and family in the comfort of our homes. Set in a peaceful location on the edge of the village with the most stunning views of La Roche de Solutré the properties have been carefully restored using natural stone and timber with much of the original oak roof structure exposed from within. Each house has its own south-facing terrace where true outdoor living can be enjoyed over the summer months. Enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool or walk in the vineyard. Relax with a book or capture the moment with your digital camera or paints. Taste the wine and savour the local food. Pick up the pace with the kids on a bike ride or climb ‘les deux roches’, Solutré and Vergisson. Guests may purchase our Vergécosse wines at our special cellar door prices!

Vergisson is a most beautiful village close to Mâcon in Southern Burgundy, one of the 5 villages within the famous Pouilly Fuissé appellation. Enjoy the magnificent scenery and tranquillity that this region of France has to offer. With Mâcon Loché TGV station only 10 mins away and a 15 minute drive to the Paris/Lyon A6 motorway, access could not be better. The airports of Lyon and Geneva are only 40 mins & 1hr 30 mins respectively. Wine enthusiasts and walkers will very quickly fall in love with these properties and this area. The vineyard is Bio-Dynamic and produces white Burgundy of the highest quality. Our producer Roger Saumaize was recently voted 2nd top grower in the whole of Burgundy. The villages of Pierreclos, Fuissé, St Veran and Solutré are a short drive away as are the Cru Beaujolais villages of St Amour, Fleurie and Julienas. Every village has its own delightful restaurant. Enjoy some horse riding, golf nearby with extensive walks throughout the whole area.
