My Flat has real character, It was originaly built as a bonded whisky warehouse and converted to flats in 1985. It has oak beams and glimpses of the river, The water of leith from the window. The flat is on the second floor with a lift and there is private parking although it is not allocated. The flat is my regular home and I just rent it out when I am working away from home. I have done some renovations on the property in the 10 years that I have owned it including replacing the carpet with wooked flooring, installing an instant hot water syste,m amd a nice new IKEA sofa bed if there is a 3rd guest staying. Note bedclother for the sofa bed are only provided if the flat is booked for 3 guests staying
Leith and the area around the river, the water of leith is a real gastranomic destination, the Queen's former royal yacht Britannia is moored at nearby Ocean Terminal and since the end of June 2023 Leith now has a great connection to the city centre with the new tram system
