The property is a newly renovated cottage with a large garden area and a seating area. The cottage has a quirky feel to it with 2 reception rooms and a separate dining area to the kitchen. The property has a large TV in the main reception area, or you could sit in front of the fire in the smaller chilled out sitting room with patio doors onto the garden. It also has a washing machine and a large fridge/freezer for your convenience.

We also live in the village, which shows we love the village of Cefn Coed and will be on hand if you have any queries while staying at the property.

The cottage is set in the quiet village of Cefn Coed which is a stones throw away from Cyfarthfa Park and The Iron Works, The Taff Trail and Josephs Parry cottages. The village has 3 local pubs, a variety of take aways and restaurants, 3 local shops, 2 cafes, a post office and 2 salons. We are just a just a few minutes drive (or a few minutes walk up the Taff Trail) to our neighbour village of Pontsticill which also has some beautiful gastro pubs, breath taking views, a local outdoor pursuits centre and the Brecon Mountain Railway. We are just a 10 minute drive to Pen y fan or continue to the beautiful town of Brecon. Cefn Coed is also perfect for those making use of Bike Park Wales which is a 5 minute drive from the cottage. Merthyr Tydfil also has a large retail park with a vast variety of shops, a trampoline park, a quirky town with many restaurants, a cinema, bowling complex, theatres and a leisure centre. The cottage has easy access to the A470 and M4 which will get you to the local Cities of Cardiff and Swansea.
