Welcome to The Breakaway. A comfortable cosy home away from home. Where the decor is simple but has a homely atmosphere. With little added touches of handmade campervan tapestry. Ode to lockdown and with little to do but sow, stitch and knitt. The caravan is conveniently located on the Haven park site giving access to amenties. Haven play passses are available for purchase to enjoy added entertainment activities and discounted dining/takeaways. For more information please do not hesitate to ask me about this. For those who like to dine in, the kitchen is stocked with crockery, cuterly, pots and pans. Combined with a mini supermarket on site that stocks most things so its not too much of a fuss to cook up a dish.

My name is Elle, I am your host and the name behind the team that makes sure you feel welcome and your stay runs smoothly. I love hosting. I like to know that when people book a stay away from home that they know what is locally on offer as it takes away the stress of having to look things up for yourself. The caravan itself is ideally located to see ships sail and seals swimming in the Thames Estuary, (7 minute walk/a few minutes by car). The view makes for a beautiful night dinning on the decked terrace at the Marina Bar and creates a warm feel good atmosphere. A 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) away theres a military fort for culture and history lovers where you can actually play laser tag. A great one for the kids or the inner big kid. Its a great way to educate the kids on history and shoot some lasers. The Fenn Bell Conservation Project is our local zoo and only a 10 minute drive away. Not only are all of the animals there super cute and cool but most of the animals there are rescued or come from other zoos. The zoo also host special events throughout the year so be sure to check out whats on so you dont miss out. To dine with a takeaway theres also a local kebab shop or Piri Piri chicken shop where orders can be collected.
