Quiet, countryside property with two double bedroom (with king size beds), self-contained ground floor, level building with garden and undercover seating area. Together with parking for one car (two if prior notice given) dog friendly (one). Owners live in building opposite with one Welsh dog. Lovely peaceful location but near, and convenient to, local amenities, 2 local, walkable pubs serving good home cooked food. Beautiful market town of Abergavenny is 8 miles away with its many individual cafes and restaurants. Monmouthshire and Brecon canal with its stunning walks and great cafe is 5 minutes drive away from the property. Superb bike riding and walking areas.
I am a very active middle aged lady who loves the countryside of beautiful Wales. I love walking my Welsh dog in the stunning surrounds of my home. I love hosting quiz nights in our local pub regularly. I live next door to the property so no issues with check-in etc, and there is also a keybox with a code I will send you beforehand, for access on arrival, for your convenience. We have lived here for 8 years after moving from the South coast of England and have no intention whatsoever of moving as we love it here so very much. We have a wealth of knowledge about fantastic walks, days out, attractions nearby and would love to share this information with guests. We live in the next property and guests can self check in using the wall mounted keylock. We like to say hello to guests and provide any advice and local information. We have one friendly Welsh dog who is 8 years old.
We are very lucky in that we are rural but within walking distance of two pubs, 4 miles from Usk Town and around 8 miles from the beautiful, bustling market town of Abergavenny with its many restaurants and pubs and especially with its fantastic food festival held once a year in September. A car is essential to access all wonderful attractions and walks, however there are many walks from the property, giving access to the canal, nearly woods, fields and river walks, and the area has many recognised cycle routes.
